Plein Air Quick Draw Competition

On Saturday, April 24, starting at 11:00am, Plein Air artists will spread out around the Lightner Museum gardens and courtyard for a Quick Draw. Artists, in competition with their peers, will have just two hours to complete a painting. Once the two hours are up, a judge will award three artists for their quick skills.

Art lovers are invited to cheer on the artists and watch their paintings come to life as they race to the finish! Artwork will be for sale through the St. Augustine Art Association, located at 22 Marine Street in historic downtown.

For complete details on the Paint Out and Quick Draw, visit www.staaa.org/pleinair or call (904) 824-2310.

Admission is free for those who simply wish to admire the art. Safe interaction with artists on the field is encouraged.
Artists who want to participate must register at http://www.staaa.org/plein-air-registration/
