THIS EVENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FROM JUNE 5-6 TO NOVEMBER 5-7, 2020. FMFF is dedicated to nurturing an experimental art and film culture in St Augustine by providing an inspired platform of the best national and international short films alongside a burgeoning local and regional culture of time-based creators and story tellers. Our goal is to discover, cultivate and screen new local narratives as a means of generating critical discussion and empowering community collaboration.
Our vision will merge the robust cultural power of an international short film festival with a collaborative localized program that provides instruction to citizens in order for them to explore storytelling through the creation of time-based artwork. A screening of Local and Student films will be on Friday, November 6, from 5pm to 8pm, in conjunction with First Friday Art Walk. We will screen selected International Shorts on Saturday, November 7 at 6pm.

This event is open to everyone who is interested in great films, arts, and learning.
Join us as we honor outstanding local female heroes, experience extraordinary films, hear thought-provoking speakers and open our imaginations through arts, fashion and history.
Friday festivities begin at 6pm for All-Access passholders, who will enjoy our feature film, “Fly Like a Girl” and meet the film’s director and producer along with our extraordinary local female heroes during a reception with heavy hors d’oeuvres.
We begin Saturday with more great films and a fashion show sponsored by ‘The Way We Were’, featuring fashions and corresponding film clips from the last century. We will end with an Awards show for those films submitted independently. Many film producers and directors will be in attendance on Saturday to answer questions after their films. Saturday’s jam-packed schedule will also include performances and discussions with experts on women’s issues, history and changing roles through the years. Many of these presentations will be supplemented with interesting, rarely seen film clips.
Come and help us celebrate women while we inspire a new generation of leaders.
All-Access passes are on sale now at $40. This is the best ticket in town. All-Access Passholders will enjoy unlimited films, speaker forums, the fashion show, our exclusive Friday night feature film, Heroes’ reception and Saturday night’s awards show.
Individual movie tickets will go on sale in mid-March at a cost of $10. Student pricing is also available.
