Join Margaret Nicholson, PhD, as she discusses her memoir and handbook, My Surprise Family: Find Your Ancestry Story. Her book tells about her experience after finding unexpected DNA results and a surprise father. Using her experience as a case study, she will share what she learned about searching for ancestors, the writing process, and choosing a publication format.
This presentation is designed to appeal to everyone. And for those interested in ancestry research and writing, you may be able to answer questions such as how much time do you want to devote to this? How comprehensive should your story be? What publication format is best for your purposes?
